Loeb House, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit, voluntary agency. It was founded in February 1982 by a group of individuals who shared a strong belief that all people, regardless of their disability, should have a safe place to live.
Loeb House, Inc. is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and is a Community Mental Health contract agency of Rockland County. It provides treatment residential services listed below to individuals living with a serious mental illness and possible co-occurring disorders such as alcohol and chemical addictions or chronic medical conditions. Medicaid is billed for the restorative services provided following Office of the Medicaid Inspector General protocols.
Loeb House, Inc. has been approved by New York State Office of Mental Health to provide Home and Community Based Services, Medicaid Waiver programs beginning October 2016. Loeb House has been approved for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Community Habilitation, Peer Support Services and Crisis Respite Services.
