Joseph’s Home, Inc. is a private not-for-profit voluntary agency in Rockland County. We provide special needs housing to homeless individuals and their families living in Rockland County who have experienced one or a combination of mental illness, homelessness, chemical dependency, HIV/AIDS and other disabilities.
Joseph’s Home, Inc. is certified by the Rockland County Office of Community Development as one of the Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) to develop and manage Affordable Low Income Housing to income eligible homeless residents of the County.
Joseph’s Home maintains a management contract with Loeb House, Inc., which offers licensed and unlicensed residential programs through the New York State Office of Mental Health.
Loeb House provides administrative oversight to the rooming house and affordable apartments. Its Scattered Supportive Housing Program provides the contracted Case Management services to the people living in Conway House and Fred Hecht Affordable Apartments. This service assists with housing stability and overall wellness of the tenants in the residences and community resources.

Our Mission
Our mission is the expansion of supportive community housing opportunities for homeless individuals and families in Rockland County. This mission is grounded in the belief that all individuals are entitled to the opportunity to live and function in the community while maintaining their optimal health. We believe the physical, mental and emotional health of homeless individuals and families will be enhanced by the supportive environment where they work and live.
